All services at Lion Heart Behavioral Health are provided in accordance with federal and state privacy laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and 42 CFR Part 2, which govern the confidentiality of substance use disorder patient records. Any communication using digital platforms, including telehealth or phone systems such as RingCentral, is conducted using encrypted, secure technology to the extent possible. By participating in telephonic or virtual treatment, clients acknowledge that they understand the risks and limitations of digital communication and consent to engage in services via these means.

Lion Heart Behavioral Health accepts various insurance plans, including commercial payers and MassHealth. Financial responsibility for co-payments, deductibles, and uncovered services remains with the client. Services may be discontinued in the event of non-payment, repeated policy violations, or if clinical criteria for ongoing treatment are no longer met.

We provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities and comply with all applicable access and civil rights laws.

Lion Heart Behavioral Health reports service utilization and other required data to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in compliance with state licensing and oversight requirements.
